Features of the use of black cumin oil from worms and parasites

Modern pharmacology offers many reliable, effective and very safe preparations against helminths, but this does not prevent some people from resorting to the traditional means of combating intestinal and other parasites in the old way. This review describes in detail how you can get rid of worms with the help of black cumin.

How black cumin affects parasites

Black cumin is one of the many names of the annual plant of the Buttercup family. His Latin name is Niguela satіva, and in the people it is also known as Chernushka sowing, Roman coriander, sedan or Kalindzhi. Almost all over the world, cumin is known as a spice that enriches the taste and aroma of a wide variety of dishes, however, in addition to culinary use, nipper is widely used as a medicinal plant. Among the many beneficial properties of this herb, in particular, antiseptic and antiparasitic are well known, thanks to which black cumin has long been used to combat worms. The reasons why Niguela satіva helps in the treatment of various helminth infections, became more understandable after scientists studied in detail the chemical composition of this fragrant plant. Thus, a number of active biological components were found in its fruits, which are overwhelmingly acting on worms and at the same time stimulating the host’s immune system to get rid of either the parasite itself or the toxic products of its vital activity.

The most active anthelmintic components of black cumin are:

CapsaicinA component that provides the pungent taste of red chilli peppers. In the seeds of Chernushka sowing, it is much smaller, but even the amount available is enough to paralyze the worm. The potency of helminth action on capsaicin is comparable with albendazole and adipate - the active ingredients of some antihelminthic drugs.
ThymolBurning substance with powerful antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiseptic action. It can not only destroy some types of parasites, but also quickly restore the body due to its stimulating effect on the immune system. It is the basis for the manufacture of potent acaricidal drugs (anti-tick agents), widely used in beekeeping.
Zineol (Eucalyptol)Very powerful natural antiseptic with, in addition, regenerating, healing, anti-inflammatory, soothing, analgesic and antifungal properties. It affects not only adult helminths, but also the eggs laid by them, dissolving their shell.
Thuyon (monoterpin)Very toxic substance, previously used in the manufacture of mouse poisons. Included in the wormwood, ensuring its bitterness. It is the main component of absinthe, so that the drink has a slight hallucinogenic effect and therefore is banned today in the United States and some European countries. In small doses, it is safe for humans, but deadly for smaller organisms, including various parasites.
SaponinsPossess diuretic and enzymatic action, stimulating the excretion of waste products of parasites from the body. In addition, some of these glycosides inhibit the development of pathogenic microflora, as well as parasitic worms.
Tannins (tannins)They have an antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, astringent and hemostatic effect on the body, help eliminate toxins from it, help relieve symptoms of intestinal disorders associated with the action of parasites. It affects the worms destructively, destroying their outer shell, due to which the parasite dies in the acidic environment of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as blocking the energy processes in the body of the helminths.
AlkaloidsBlock metabolic processes in the body of parasites. On the human body, these generally toxic compounds, in small doses, have a tonic, stimulating and tonic effect.
Essential oilsParalyze the nervous system and metabolism in the body of worms; at the same time, due to the small dose, for the human body have a completely opposite effect.

Thus, the seeds of black cumin contain a number of biologically active components, which, due to their complex and mutually reinforcing (synergistic) action, can lead to three independent results, which together explain the powerful anthelmintic effect of the plant:

  • destroy or paralyze and thereby neutralize the parasite itself;
  • promptly remove from the body toxins secreted by the helminth and causing serious health problems;
  • stimulate the host’s immune system, allowing it to quickly deal with the traces and effects of the lesion.

Did you know? Nematodes, which include parasites such as roundworms and pinworms, are known from the Upper Carboniferous — that is, they exist for at least 300 Ma.

How to apply black cumin oil

For the treatment of various types of helminthiasis, it is not the black cumin seeds that are most often used, but the oil squeezed out of them, since the concentration of the healing components in this product is as high as possible. Although the effect of this treatment does not come too quickly, many patients still prefer it to modern pharmacological drugs due to the already mentioned additional beneficial properties that it has on the body.

Pure oil from all types of worms in the intestines

Rules for receiving pure black cumin oil to fight intestinal parasites are always the same: 1 tbsp. l drug you need to drink on an empty stomach and drink with plain clean water without gas. But the frequency of procedures depends on the severity of the condition and can be carried out according to one of the following schemes:

Light form Once a day - in the morning, 15-20 minutes before meals.
Standard treatment In addition to the morning re-admission at night, at least 30 minutes after the last meal.
In especially difficult casesStandard treatment, and in addition the third dose of the drug during the day, but not on an empty stomach, but immediately after eating.

The principle of operation of pure cumin oil is that it:

  • stimulates the production of mucin and cytokines - the most important proteins of the immune system;
  • enhances the body’s overall ability to respond promptly to infection penetration (so-called immunoreactivity);
  • accelerates the division of phagocytes, T-lymphocytes and B-lymphocytes, which are the main components of cellular immune defense;
  • blocks the production of histamine, and consequently, allergic reactions, which are often accompanied by the production of antibodies by the body to infections caused by parasites;
  • kills worms and destroys their eggs, and not only in the intestines, but also on other mucous membranes, in tissues and vessels;
  • promotes the transport of toxins excreted by parasites to the "gate" through which these substances can leave the body as soon as possible (skin, anus, etc.);
  • It has antifungal and antibacterial effect, expelling all pathogenic microflora from the body of the host, and not just worms;
  • improves the functioning of the liver, which plays the main role in the process of general cleansing of the body.

The course of taking black cumin oil both for preventive and therapeutic purposes is 10 days.

Important! Helminths, in addition to the direct toxic effect on the body, carry hidden dangers. In particular, the biological ability of these parasites to dull, inhibit immunity, makes the body defenseless against more serious threats, including malignant transformations of cells and tissues.

Oil with honey from the simplest parasites and fungi

Very often, in recipes of traditional medicine, black cumin oil is suggested to be mixed with various additional ingredients, in particular, honey. It is necessary, however, to understand that honey by itself does not have any additional anthelmintic action - its role is to level the bitter and rather unpleasant taste of Nigella satіva oil. For example, for the preparation of a sweet drug from ciliates, amoebas, Giardia and other protozoa, as well as intestinal infections of a fungal nature, are used:

  • Chernushka seed oil - 1 tsp;
  • honey (any liquid, but always high quality) - 1 tbsp. l .;
  • boiled water - 250 ml.

All components should be very well mixed and taken on an empty stomach twice a day (morning and evening) according to the following scheme:

Patient categorySingle dose
Adults and children over 10 years60 ml
Children aged 6 to 10 years30 ml (you can use the usual dose, but when preparing the drug, reduce the oil content in it by 2 times)

The course of treatment is 21 days.

Did you know? If you cut a very small piece of the size of about 1/100 of a whole individual from a worm, it is still able to recover to the whole organism.

Tea with black cumin oil from lamblia and tapeworms

In addition to honey, black cumin oil can also be taken with tea. Preparing medicine is extremely simple: in a glass of freshly prepared drink (green or black, you can with sugar) simply add 5 drops of oil and then drink. A two-week treatment course involves taking one glass of caraway tea three times a day before meals. It is believed that such a tool is especially effective against cestodes (tapeworms), as well as for the treatment of ascariasis and giardiasis. However, instead of tea it is possible to use any quality juice, the drug will act in the same way.

Local application of oil against pinworms

Treatment of enterobiosis, a disease caused by parasitism in pinworms, is fundamentally different from the methods described above for controlling other intestinal parasites. This specificity is explained by the peculiarity of pinworm life cycle. Female pinworms lay their eggs around the host's anus, especially for this purpose by getting out through the anus to the outside. At the same time, the female itself dies after egg-laying, but the larvae of young worms emerging from the eggs cannot enter the human body through the anus.

Important! Enterobiasis is a classic example of “dirty hands disease”: you cannot catch pinworms using pinworms in any other way except by mouth. In most cases, the disease progresses precisely because of repeated self-infection.

Oddly enough, the infection occurs through the actions of the owner himself. The mucus secreted by the pinworm in the process of laying eggs, causes a strong allergic reaction in a person, accompanied by intolerable itching. As a result of scratching the affected area, part of the eggs are on the fingers or under the patient's nails, and from there, as a result of elementary disregard for hygiene standards, in his mouth, and then in the stomach and intestines.

However, the feature of pinworms described above allows you to get rid of them much easier than most other parasites. To do this, it is enough just daily, in the morning and before bedtime, to apply black cumin oil on the skin around the anus, capturing a small area inside the anus.

As a result of this manipulation, the following occurs:

  • the pungent smell of caraway does not allow the female to get out for laying, and, consequently, the life cycle of the parasite does not end as planned by nature;
  • if the pinworm managed to lay eggs inside the anus, the way for their re-penetration into the mouth cavity of the host through his hands is closed;
  • the active substances of the oil act on the eggs at the moment when they are excreted from the body naturally (with feces), and the larvae die before they can be born;
  • The immunostimulating effect of black cumin completes the process by producing antibodies to the infection and leaving the parasite no chance.

Did you know? A large representative of parasitic flatworms, a bull solitaire, produces about 600 million eggs a year.

The life of the pinworm after it enters the intestine of the carrier is not more than three weeks. Thus, the external use of black cumin oil in combination with strict adherence to the rules of personal hygiene makes it possible to completely cure enterobiosis during this period without using any kind of oral medication. A single dose of oil for application to the skin around the anus - 5-8 ml for adults and 1-4 ml for children. As a "working tool" you will need a normal cotton swab and a soft ear stick to lubricate the inner surface of the anus. Although external use of caraway oil is much safer than ingesting it, before starting treatment, especially when it comes to a child, you should definitely test for sensitivity to the drug, applying a small amount to the skin of your hand and making sure there is no itching, redness , rashes and other negative local reactions.

Black Cumin seeds from parasites

If for some reason it was not possible to get black cumin oil, you can also use plant seeds as an ingredient for the manufacture of anthelmintic drugs.

The drug from all types of parasites in the intestines

The principle of action of such a drug is completely analogous to oil, therefore the recommended regimen for receiving seeds (on an empty stomach, 1, 2 or 3 times a day depending on the severity of the infection) is also standard. As for the dosage, then 1 tsp is traditionally used for one administration. seeds. Spice should be thoroughly crushed in a mortar or grind in a coffee grinder (so that the active substances do not evaporate, this must be done immediately before use).

Did you know? In 2015, a patient complained of nausea, abdominal pain and general weakness to a clinic in China. After the study, a tapeworm Taeniarhynchus saginatus was detected in the patient's body, the length of which was ... 6.2 m!

The resulting powder can be simply put in your mouth and washed down with a glass of water or, if desired, first mix with water and then drink the resulting suspension. The recommended course of treatment is 7 days. For preventive purposes (for example, if there are pets in the house), this course can be repeated every three months.

To enhance the effect, black cumin seeds are sometimes taken in combination with other components, in particular:

  • dill seeds (1 tsp. of each component per serving);
  • ground cinnamon (0.5 tsp. in addition to the standard portion of cumin);
  • ground oak bark (1 tsp. per serving);
  • freshly squeezed onion juice (1 tablespoon per serving).

Cumin with wine from liver flukes

Hepatic flukes are parasites of the flatworm type, the peculiarity of which is that they are localized in the liver and biliary tract of humans and many animals. To combat this type of worms, black cumin is best combined with dry red wine.

To prepare the potion, you will need:

  • Chernushka sowing seeds - 4 tbsp. l .;
  • wine - 1 l.

Important! Helminths are different, and the only reliable way to establish a diagnosis and prescribe an adequate treatment is the analysis of feces on the eggs of worms, and experts recommend that if there is a suspicion, not one, but 2-3 times.

Seeds should first be ground into powder using a mortar or coffee grinder, then pour them with wine, seal the container tightly and place in a dark place at room temperature for 24 hours. When the drink is infused, it should be drained. Taking the medicine should be done on an empty stomach three times a day, 1 tbsp. l (in some sources a single dose is advised to increase to 30 ml). The course of treatment is 21 days. An effective remedy for the control of hepatic flukes on the basis of black cumin seeds can be prepared without the use of alcohol. For this purpose, willow leaves are used as a liquid component (4 tablespoons of finely chopped fresh leaves per 1 liter of water - the mixture is set on fire and roasted for 15 minutes from the moment of boiling). The rest of the technology of preparation of the drug is similar to the wine liqueur.

Contraindications to taking black cumin medicine against worms and parasites

Использовать рассматриваемое средство для лечения различных заболеваний, в том числе гельминтозов, можно далеко не всем и не всегда. Like any other medicinal plant, which includes substances that can kill a simple organic matter, black cumin can cause an ambiguous reaction in the patient himself, especially if he has certain chronic diseases, weakened immunity and other borderline conditions.

Find out how black cumin is useful for humans.

In particular, one should not resort to popular methods of combating parasites with:

  • of pregnancy (due to the risk of negative effects of the active components of the drug on the fetus, as well as increased contraction of the muscles of the uterus, which is a threat of miscarriage);
  • gastritis, pancreatitis, ulcers and other diseases of the stomach, pancreas or duodenum, especially in the acute stage (the drug is irritating to the mucous frills of the gastrointestinal tract and can cause a serious deterioration in the patient's condition);
  • problems with the cardiovascular system (the plant stimulates blood flow and increases the load on the vessels and the heart muscle);
  • blood clots and the tendency to form blood clots (the drug enhances these alarming symptoms);
  • the presence of kidney stones and gallbladder (due to the risk of their progress under the action of increased intestinal motility and biliary tract);
  • a recent severe illness, especially associated with surgery (a weakened body can react severely to a potent drug, and the choleretic, diuretic, and tonic effect of black cumin is undesirable in the presence of fresh postoperative sutures);
  • transplanted no matter how much time has passed after the transplant;
  • individual intolerance (allergic reaction) to any component of the plant.

In addition, according to the official position of the World Health Organization, medicinal herbs can not be used to combat worms in children under six years of age. Speaking about the possible contraindications of the use of black cumin against worms, it is necessary to note an important point related to the diagnosis of the disease.

The fact is that helminthiasis has no pronounced symptoms and usually manifests itself in the form of a general deterioration in health (loss of appetite, weight loss, various disorders in the gastrointestinal tract, headaches, flatulence, etc.), that is, that can testify to the most different diseases - from the beginning cold or usual overfatigue to the progressing HIV infection.

Only by clearly setting the parasite, determining the place of its localization and the degree of infection, you can begin to take anthelmintic drugs. Acting on the principle of "just in case," you can not just not achieve recovery, but also hurt yourself even more. And since a preliminary appeal to the doctor for diagnosis is still mandatory, the appropriateness of subsequent popular treatment instead of using modern anthelmintic drugs, which are obviously more effective and safe, looks somewhat doubtful. At the same time, black cumin and other plant-based forms of pest control can be a very good way out if the patient is allergic to traditional medicines (which happens quite often). Black cumin is a time-tested remedy for worms, not losing its relevance today. From the seeds and oils of this plant, you can prepare a lot of folk drugs that can destroy various types of dangerous parasites.

Nevertheless, it is necessary to resort to this kind of treatment with great caution, not forgetting about possible contraindications and side effects, and therefore, in order not to cause harm to your health, you must make an accurate diagnosis before laboratory medicine and consult your doctor.
