Kherson region in the near future will become the All-Ukrainian center of rice supply.
According to Alexei Vadaturinsky, who heads the Nibulon company, their enterprise has a large investment program, one of whose priorities is to update rice processing in the Kherson region.
Vadaturinsky reported this during a meeting of the newly created Council of Regional Development of the Kherson region. The head of Nibulon added that these activities will help his enterprise integrate with local rice farmers, with the result that Kherson region will become the center of rice supply for the whole country. 
"Reconstruction and completion of the construction of rice enterprises in the Kherson region will begin very soon, in 2019," - says Alexey Vadaturinsky.
We add that in the framework of the development of the economy of the Kherson region, researchers have come to the conclusion that the region could also become a center for the cultivation, production and wholesale of seafood:
"Growing mussels and oysters will not only positively affect the country's economy, but also improve the ecological situation in Ukraine and the Black Sea."
