"New Year's delicacy" for 100 thousand euros: Austrian white caviar has become the most expensive in the world

As you know, caviar is so expensive and not everyone enters it into their daily diet. But in Austria, a novelty has been bred, an ultra-rare caviar, the price of which has hit the whole world altogether. For 100 g of the rarest caviar they are asked for 100 thousand euros.

The white and gold caviar of the Siberian sturgeon albino called Strottarga Bianco, which is bred on a fish farm in the Austrian city of Salzburg, was awarded the title of the most expensive delicacy in the world. One jar of such "pleasure" is more expensive than a Porsche Cayenne car.

To get the most expensive product in the world, it takes about 8-10 years to grow one sturgeon. To get one kilogram of the finished product, it is worth dehydrating 4 kg of caviar. After this procedure, the eggs rubbed with edible gold of 22 carats in order to obtain a "reflection" of white gold.
